SERC training programs award NERC-approved continuing education hours (CEHs), which assist bulk system operators in maintaining their NERC certification.  SERC has automated the recordkeeping for system operator certification within the region.  A database was developed and populated with over 1500 operator transcripts dating to April 2006. The database has been in operation with full availability since June 1, 2008.

SERC Reliability Corporation (NERC provider ID: SERC_001) is recognized by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation as a continuing education provider who adheres to NERC Continuing Education Program Criteria
