Draft 4 of the proposed SERC Underfrequency Load Shedding (UFLS) regional reliability standard (PRC-006-SERC-01) has been posted for a 15-day pre-ballot review period (see below link). The drafting team and the SERC Standards Committee have agreed that the standard is ready to be submitted to the SERC Registered Ballot Body for approval. The review period is from October 27 through November 10, 2009. Voting will begin shortly after the pre-ballot review closes. A separate notice with details on the ballot procedure will be issued to the Ballot Pool.
Draft 4 of SERC UFLS regional reliability standard (PRC-006-SERC-01)
The SERC UFLS standard drafting team (SDT) has updated the draft standard in response to comments received on Draft 3a. Included in the posting are Clean and Redline (back to draft 3a) versions of the standard, Draft 4 of the Implementation Plan for PRC-006-SERC-01, the Consideration of Comments on Draft 3a, and a summary of comments rejected on Draft 3a. The window for members of the SERC Registered Ballot Body (RBB) to join the ballot pool to be eligible to vote on the proposed SERC UFLS standard (PRC-006-SERC-01) opened on October 2, 2009 (see below link). That window will remain open through the pre-ballot review period.
