The purpose of the Registered Entity Forum (REF) is to promote compliance excellence and provide a way for SERC registered entities to exchange information, share lessons learned, and generate concerns and questions to be provided to SERC staff anonymously through an REF Steering Committee member. All registered entities are welcomed to reach out to their REF representatives. A summary of each representative's experience in areas of Operations and Planning (O&P) or Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), along with their contact information, is available by clicking either the O&P or CIP REF Representatives link at the bottom of this page.

2020 REF STEERING COMMITTEE ELECTION
The REF is open to participation by all entities registered in the SERC Region, regardless of membership status in SERC. Elections are held each November, and committee members serve a two-year term.
A ballot is sent to each registered entity’s Primary Compliance Contact. Nominations are due by November 2, 2020.
Voting ends on November 13, 2020; and results will be announced in the December SERC Newsletter.
